Autec Training Ltd are a health and safety training organisation based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and have been in the safety and training industry for over twenty years. We are very versatile and proud of our reputation with the many National, International and localised companies we’ve carried out training for, as well as the numerous private individuals trained at our centre in Peterborough each year. According to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, it is a legal requirement for all employers to ensure their employees have received adequate health and safety training.
Information, instruction, training and supervision are necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of all employees.
All personnel must be properly trained to operate plant and machinery and be authorised to operate the same. All training must be documented and records kept. The easiest way for an employee to evidence they’ve received appropriate and adequate health and safety training is for them to carry, at all times, a recognisable personal registration card showing their training achievements.
Autec Training offer a wide range of practical and theory courses such as Forklift, Excavator, NRSWA (streetworks), Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels to name just a few, these can be carried out at our training centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire or on site anywhere in the UK. All of our training is conducted by professional and qualified health and safety instructors.
