This streetworks course is for utilities, contractors and authorities working on or around the highway. The NRSWA course is designed for operators and streetworks supervisors who are already working on, our would like to work within the highways sector.
Supervisors will monitor any activity and make assessments on work undertaken by making a report. Successful operatives and supervisors will be issued with SQA certificates (Scottish Qualification Authority) and a SWQR photo registration card (Streetworks Qualification Register).
Individual units can be completed, or the full course, depending on differing requirements. However, at least 3 units must be completed in order to qualify for a SWQR card with one exception. Delegates completing either units 2 or 10 (Signing, Lighting and Guarding) qualify for a Streetworks Qualification Register ticket.

This course program will involve classroom study, videos, multimedia projector, simulated and practical assessments with tests.
Basic Streetworks Supervisors Course Units
This course will require a lot more theory in the classroom than the operator’s course. Supervisors will be required to demonstrate competence and monitor activity and make assessments on work undertaken on site by making a report.
