How long do the courses take?
The majority of our courses can range in length. This will depend on the specific requirements of the course, as well as your previous course-specific experience level. If you have a good level of prior experience then the course can be shorter then if you are starting from a position of less experience, and this will be reflected in the price.

How long is the CSCS Site Safety Awareness certificate valid for?
Your CITB Site Safety Plus certificate is valid for five years from the date of issue. You’ll need to retake the course before it expires to renew your qualification and keep your CSCS card active.
What equipment or materials do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything specific; all course materials will be provided on the day.
Can I use this course to apply for a CSCS card?
Yes absolutely, this course is an approved route to the CSCS Labourer (Green) Card. Once you’ve passed the course and completed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test, you’ll be eligible to apply for your CSCS card directly.
Is the course recognised across the UK?
Absolutely. The CITB Site Safety Plus qualification is recognised nationwide and accepted by major contractors, site managers, and construction employers across the UK.

Do I need any previous experience?

How long does the course take, and when will I get certified?
Our PASMA Mobile Tower Scaffolding course is a one-day intensive programme. Upon successful completion of the theory and practical assessments, your certification will be processed immediately. You will receive your digital certificate and ID card early the next day, allowing you to get back to work without delay.
Do I need any previous experience?
No experience is required. This course is designed for anyone entering the construction industry or needing to renew their CSCS Labourer Card. It’s ideal for new starters, general labourers, or anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of on-site safety.
How long does the course take, and when will I get certified?
Our CITB Site Safety Plus CSCS Site Safety Awareness course is a one-day training programme. Once you successfully complete the course and assessment, you’ll receive your certificate the same day. You can then use it to apply for your CSCS Labourer (Green) Card immediately, helping you get on-site without delay.
What is the IPAF PAL Card?
The Powered Access Licence (PAL Card) is an internationally recognised ID card proving that the holder has been trained and tested to operate powered access equipment safely. It’s issued digitally or as a physical card and includes your photo, expiry date, and the machine categories you’re qualified to operate.
How much do courses cost?
The prices of our courses depend on the number of days you require to complete them.
This is largely determined by the amount of prior experience you have.
The cost of registration/issuing fee for your qualification ticket is added to the cost of the course at the standard rate set by the awarding body.

Where do the courses take place?
All of our in-house courses are conducted between the Autec Training Centre in Peterborough and our own fully-equipped practical training ground, situated next to RAF Wittering.
We also provide training programs to clients on-site across the country.
We are particularly proud of our fantastic training facilities, which are modern, clean, and well maintained, with hot & cold refreshments, fruit, sweets and snacks provided to all students at no extra cost.

Am I eligible for a free B&B?
If you’re travelling to us from far away and your course duration is 2 days or more we can provide you with free B&B accommodation. We can also collect and return you to local public transport links, such as train or bus stations.

How long is the PASMA certification valid for?
Your PASMA certification is valid for five years from the date of issue.
What equipment do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything with you. We will provide all the equipment for the training.

Do I need any previous experience?
No, this course is suitable for both beginners and those with experience who need to renew their certification. There are no formal prerequisites; however, you should be physically fit and able to work at height without fear of heights.
