Autec Training offer an unrivalled programme of specialist IPAF training courses for the safe operation, installation and inspection of Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs). Autec Training are one of the only accredited IPAF training centres in the UK to offer Mast Climber Work Platform (MCWP) training in centre. Training can be carried out at our bespoke Training centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire as well as on your site anywhere in the UK.
Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs) are fast becoming the number 1 chosen form of elevated work access platform, increasingly used in the construction industry as temporary working places giving variable height access to specific areas of structures above ground level.
Typical applications for Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs) include: bricklaying, industrial cladding, fabric repair, window fitting and replacement, new-build housing, flats and offices, multi-trade sites, lift shaft installations, cleaning and painting.
MCWPs allow efficient work on the façade of buildings where conventional methods may be uneconomical. They are in many cases more convenient to use than other forms of access equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, staging or suspended cradles.

Anyone who operates or intends to operate Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWP), including those who are responsible for the management of Mast Climber Work Platforms (MCWPs) on their site.
At the end of the course the candidate will be:
Upon completion of any of our IPAF courses, successful delegates will receive an IPAF certificate and a PAL card that lasts for five years, they will also receive an IPAF safety guide and an IPAF log book relating to the specific IPAF course the delegate has completed.
IPAF have recently partnered with CSCS which allows your Pal card to carry the CSCS logo. Depending on the site and the client, this card can be used as entry to site like a CSCS card.
Delegates should bring the following PPE with them as standard, safety helmet, boots, gloves and eye protection.

Successful delegates will receive a IPAF PAL card with certificate and a safety guide and log book relating to the specific IPAF course that the delegates have been trained on.
