EITO is Autec’s very own card scheme, started in 1996, with now over 20,000 cards in circulation. This has provided our clients with a cost effective ‘proof of training’ operator card that is accepted by the HSE.
NPORS provide Autec with the ability to train and test both at your workplace, (training with your own equipment )or at our purpose built training site in Peterborough.
Those who have had very little or no previous experience of operating forklifts and have not received any formal training would normally require a 4 to 5 day foundation course.
This course is designed for the forklift operator who has had extensive practical experience, but has never been formally trained.
They will require a minimum of 3 days training, which consists of 2 days practical on the machine and 1 day theory in the classroom.
3 yearly refresher training can be carried out if you can show evidence of previous certification. This course is designed to give the previously trained and certificated operator a one day refresher course to bring their certification up to date.

On successful completion of the course the operator will be issued with a certificate and an operator’s card renewable every 3 years by completing the 1 day refresher.
Once you have successfully completed Autec’s Forklift training courses, you will be issued with an NPORS operator card, or an EITO card along with an Autec Training certificate of competency.
